PonyBoy Press Giveaway!

Hello Everyone,

It is a Friday early evening and all is quiet in internet land. I just decided that this would be a good time to do my very first giveaway!

What you will win is this lovely Project Planner Journal. These planning journals give you a space to draw your idea and a space to write about it. Very handy and a good way to keep up on all your crafty and decor ideas.

In order to win this handmade (bound with embroidery thread and gocco printed) Make Something Project Planner, all you have to do is leave a comment here and tell me about a project that has been on your to do list for a while. You don't need to divulge any trade secrets, just a general idea of a project you have been meaning to do for a while. My personal list keeps growing and growing!

The winner will be picked at random next Saturday, Feb 28th. You have till Friday, Feb 27th, at midnight to enter. Feel free to pass on the giveaway by letting your friends know.

Yay, I am excited about this. Looking forward to hearing your comments.

I am planning on practicing my embroidery by outlining a floral pattern on a skirt that doesn't fit anymore - so it's not a big deal if I mess it up, because I haven't worked on actual clothing yet. (And if it's successful, well, I'll have a pretty size fourteen skirt to give or sell!)

I have several projects on my future to do list :D

One is to do a reverse graffiti project in Honolulu. Another one is to start and finish my personal healing paper project that needs to be letter pressed and silk screened in a month (edition of 27). And my final big project is to finish the kitchen silk screened cards for jiwa jiwa prints. Busy busy busy!

My project is to do an altered book or a blank journal on ladies faces. I thought about doing an ABC format with each letter focusing on the ladies expression. All the pictures would be vintage.I have got over half my pictures.I hope it makes sense.

Thanks for the chance to win.

I have too many projects waiting for me to get to. But one is making a new cover for my planner. I have to get one of those plain black at-a-glance calendars and I've been planning to sew up a fabric cover to put over it.

My project is to organize my craft corner ... and be able to tell everyone about it with 'before' and 'after' pics. So far, I have taken the 'before' pics ... now off to work on the next step!

I really want to learn bead embroidery. I have a specific project in mind: a superb fairy wren for my sister, who has a thing for wrens. But I'm really intimidated! I seriously need to spend some time planning out this project before I start it!

I've been holding off on making another large scale sculpture because I haven't had the room, but now I have a studio so I can do whatever I want ;)

I'm super excited lately about having a little fruit, herb, and vegetable patch in my garden. I want my first try to go as well as possible, but failing that, I want to learn from my mistakes, so I'm determined to keep a meticulous history of all the steps I take. I can't wait to eat the fruits of my labor!

I've been meaning to find all my old handwritten notes from childhood, and use them as a basis for writing a kind of "scavenger hunt in a box" sort of zine. So you get this thing full of letters, which you read in whatever order you want! My mom just brought me a box full of old papers, so they might be in there. Woo.

I love your project planner. the closest I have gotten to something like this is basically just making lists in my catchall blank books (serve as project ideas, to do lists, actual content writing for zines, and anything else). oh, soooo many projects! One is to brainstorm future subscription projects so that I can have some ready for when this first lovely letterbox ends (while working on these last couple). I have so many zines that are in progress in notebooks and in my head, and I thought of a new one that would be full color collage art that are personal affirmations. something I worry could be corny, so I need to try out a couple and see.
It is great to hear about other peoples' projects! That last one that Sarah Morean mentioned - wow, that sounds so interesting!
Thanks Krissy.

I have so many projects to try! I'd love to make a set of cards for friends. Also maybe some necklaces.

I am working on a design for a sleeping bag with sleeves so that I can use my arms to read and spoon while still being warm. Also, I am hoping to construct some kind of pretty flower pot to hang out my window.
