island wind farm

I really like the artwork of roadside. This piece especially is asking me to buy it. To me it is reminiscent of Anne of Green Gables and it also reminds me of this neat place we went to last month when we were on Whidbey Island. It was called the Lavender Wind Farm.

It was so beautiful there. We got there about a half an hour before they were scheduled to close. I would have liked to have spent more time there. The air smelled like lavender. We looked at the flowers and the view and bought some lavender ice cream (mine was blackberry lavender) and some other lavendery items.

Here are a couple pics from that day. This first one looks just like the picture!

You should totally get that artpiece for yourself, it's gorgeous! The girl with the mouse is super adorable. Thanks for sharing the link.

Thanks for the mention!

My mom lives in Seattle, so I'll have to check out that awesome lavender farm next time I go to visit.
